NICEST DENTIST EVER!

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing Celine for my first appointment today. She was fantastic! Super professional and made me feel at ease instantly.

Accompanied by her just as awesome assistant Ziahraa the appointment flew by and felt more like catching up with friends than being at the dentists.

Booked in my next two appointments straight after.

Also, a hat nod to the admin staff. They’re always lovely to speak to and very helpful.

If you need a new dentist….. you’ve just found it.

Shakespeare beautifully put, “A smile cures the wounding of a frown.” I used to smile with gaps in my teeth without giving it much attention, but then one of my front teeth started to wobble, forcing me to make some difficult dental decisions. I'm scared of dental implants for personal reasons; therefore Dr. Luis Marval Mendoza developed a fantastic orthodontic plan just for me. Along with closing the spaces between my teeth, he also tried to reinforce the tooth that was wobbling so that it would last longer. I have seen Luis act with the utmost professionalism during the nine months of treatment. To ensure that my teeth are strong enough to tolerate pressure from the gums, he spoke with the gum specialist Dr. Kuljeet Mehta to work out the best treatment.

Over the past nine months, I've experienced a variety of brace-related problems, and I've nearly weekly contact with Luis. Luis has been so patient in helping me with all of my issues. Luis is also clever and amusing, which has turned my dentist appointments into something akin to fun social gatherings. I was overjoyed to learn from an X-ray taken after my braces were taken off that the bone surrounding my crooked teeth had grown again.

Luis has saved my tooth. I can smile more…

I have been unhappy with NHS dental practices for many many years. After retiring I decided I wanted to spend my small pension lump sum on improving my teeth. Woodborough House was recommended by a friend. After initial consultations with Hamish, Nick, Sarah, Luis and Helen I have decided to go with orthodontics and 2 implants and white fillings. The staff also know that I am on a limited budget and have accommodated this. I have given the review 4 stars because of the quality and professionalism of the staff. They have listened to what I want to achieve and treated me like a person, not a number. I have no doubt that after my treatment is finished my final review will be 5 stars. Thank you to the team for being so lovely. Cant wait to get started.

Just wanted to take the time to share our recent visit at Woodborough house and say thank you. Once again your team were amazing with my 6 year old son, from the lovely ladies at reception through to Rupert the dentist and Ruth the dental nurse (and the dentists walking through reception as we were waiting) everyone we saw today was lovely and welcoming. My son hasn’t had the easiest time with his teeth, having numerous visits and treatments over the past year and I’m SO glad we’ve found Rupert and Woodborough to look after him, you’re all amazing. Rupert was very reassuring today as always and we’ve left with a happy boy and me a happy mum!

I couldn't recommend Woodborough enough, they've always fitted us in - even on super short notice and given my son outstanding care. Fantastic value for money, and worth travelling for - we travel from 40 mins away purely because of the care and team here.

P.S. The superhero idea was a big hit! He loved coming in as Spider-Man today and your team were brilliant in engaging with him.

Initially a great experience, Sally was lovely and very informative re the issues and treatment required. I expected a call to book an appointment for the treatment but I have had to chase the practice. I have tight time constraints due to travel out of the country and this has limited my availability based on Sally's diary. Let's hope I don't have any further issues after the procedure! Hence the loss of a 🌟

Don’t hesitate to have specialist treatment at this dental practice. Nick Fahey is the best out there as far as implants are concerned and there is also a great aftercare service. Helen is a brilliant hygienist too.

Everything so far has been amazing with my treatments and my daughters treatments ! She had bonding with Hamish after 3 years of braces and wow her teeth look incredible! And so this year I decided to have invisilign and bonding ! So far everything is going to plan and next week I’m having the bonding with Hamish ! I’m so excited ! Watch this space for an update ! Amazing Mr Metha the periodontal surgeon and the wonderful, friendly staff makes this surgery a very pleasant experience.

The environment of the practice was cozy and neatly maintained. The specialist, Dr. Sally McCarthy and her assistant (Kareen ) are really professional. Dr. McCarthy convincingly did a superb work on the root canal treatment. The entire process was meticulously handled and explained. The diagnosis, treatment process and outcome were fully documented. I thank for their patience with me and their hospitality as well. The receptionist and administrators were also nice and polite which extended a very comfortable feeling.

The people at Woodborough House are super-friendly & helpful - and they seem to be extremely competent and knowledgeable too. They took the time to explain the procedure fully to me, unlike many other dental practices.

I have made three visits to Woodborough in the last couple of months, periodontal annual checkup, implants review and checkup and finally the hygienist. I have to say the whole team from reception to dental nurses to specialists do a great job. Everyone is always friendly and all know their jobs. The result being my mouth has not been in such good condition for quite some time!

After a bad experience at another dental practice Woodborough House was recommended to me. The care I received from every member of staff has been outstanding. Despite being told (by the other practice) that I would lose the tooth, a combined effort of Nav and Sally saved it - for which I'm extremely grateful. Everything was explained to me as treatment progressed and both Nav and Sally were very kind and reassuring. An extremely professional service with fabulous customer care.

This person left a star rating but no comment.

I am half way through my dental implant surgery with Nick and his team at Woodborough. I would 100% recommend Nick if you are looking for dentistry work as I feel the service I have had so far has been brilliant.

My case was quite complicated as has been lengthy but I do feel it's being done the right way and means I shouldn't have any issues in the future.

To give you an idea I had a bike accident and knocked out a front tooth. I needed to have an implant and stupidly chose a cheep option and had the works completed in Budapest / Hungry. However some years later the implant failed meaning I had to start again. I enquired with Nick and he explained that due to the original implant not being placed correctly and a loss of bone and gum around the area my best option would be to start again.

I have had the implant removed and then had two round of bone grafting and now have started the soft tissue grafting. All is looking good and I can't wait to finally get my new crowns in to finish off the work.

All the staff at Woodborough are great. Kind, caring and friendly. Its a very professional service with follow up calls and email / text reminders. Nick has been brilliant and really does know his stuff.

Don't do what I did and go for a cheaper option - it won't be worth it. Go with Woodborough and get the job done right.

I will write another review when the works have been completed.

February 2024: Update:

So I have now finished treatment with Nick and am really pleased with the final outcome. My case was difficult as we had to Strat from scratch and very time consuming but looking ahead the time spent with Nick was worth it.

My teeth are looking fantastic and im feeling so much more confident with my appearance.

The overall experience with the Woodborough team was faultless and I cant recommend enough.

Whatever you issue is go and get an opinion and you won't regret it.
