Woodborough House Dental Practice

Very happy with the service at Woodborough House. The receptionists are all very welcoming and the hygienist, Helen, is always kind and very reassuring.

I've just finished the process of having an implant and the whole experience was dealt with meticulously and calmly. Woodborough House staff kept me well informed and supported the whole way through. A very good experience.

I had always hated my teeth and getting them "fixed" had been on my radar for YEARS however I was put off by an experience in 2014 where a dentist told me the only way I would get a perfect smile was to either have healthy teeth removed and years of wire braces or have my jaw operated on to correct my overbite! Neither options appealed to me given the stage in my life.

I finally got my act in gear and Dec 2018, started my Invisalign journey with Nav.

Firstly, if you are considering this treatment - do it!! Book your first appointment, find out your options and go for it. I wish i had done this 10-years ago.

I finished with my aligners at the beginning of this year (it would have been sooner had Covid not got in the way) and I LOVE the result. Friends and family can't believe the difference it has made, my smile is bigger and brighter (I also had a course of whitening which I recommend). My teeth also feel healthier. Ultimately, I feel so much more confident which for me, is the most important thing.

Nav and his team were really brilliant from start to finish. He is such a perfectionist, which is what you want in the pursuit of your "perfect smile". Equally, he won't suggest or do any treatment for the sake of it - so without sounding overly corporate - it is a real partnership. One thing I would say is take your treatment seriously - don't expect the results if you don't follow the guidelines e.g. wear your braces for the allocated time and do what Nav tells you to do!!! :)

I highly recommend this dentist practice. For years I've struggled with trips to the dentist after a traumatic experience as a teenager (back where I grew up and not this practice) put me off for life, but this dental practice, and Nav my dentist changed everything. I've had to have some fillings and investigations done to date (due to the neglect of my teeth before I came to see this practice) but if you need a good dentist and you have any fears or hangups, THIS is the place to go. Nav is incredible. Worth every penny. Thank you for offering such and amazing service and care for your patients.

Excellent customer service - from check ups to fillings and crown fittings Nav has always put me at ease and explained every procedure. Helen has also been friendly and courteous on every occasion. Would highly recommend.

At a previous dentist I had a really bad experience which had left me incredibly nervous/frightened of going to the dentist. My husband had become a patient at this dentist and suggested that I try them as he felt that they would be able to reduce my fear.

I attended my initial consultation with trepidation and met Hamish – he was very relaxed which put me at ease and it was concluded that I needed to have some work completed on my teeth. There was no pressure to get the work booked in and completed as soon as I left my initial appointment. Everything was explained to me about what was needed and I was told to go away and think about how I wanted to proceed.

It did take 6 months before I made the decision to have the root canal treatment done. There was no criticism for the length of time that it had taken for me to arrange and attend this appointment, the follow up treatment was amazing as I had several phone calls to ensure that there was no problems etc. I was never made to feel that I was a problem.

After I had the recovered from the root canal treatment and I was more relaxed about attending the dentist. I thought I would then arrange for to see the hygienist (2nd treatment recommended). Helen was amazing – she was aware that I was extremely anxious about the visit and set out to put me at ease as soon as I arrived. She talked me through everything that she was going to do and said that if at any point it was too much I just had to ask and she could stop.

I can honestly say that I have never received such wonderful treatment from a dentist and I would fully recommend Woodhouse Dental Practice to anyone who is anxious about attending the dentist. I had thought that I would never find a dentist that I was relaxed enough to go to without it having to be an emergency visit.

I responded to Woodborough's promotion online and had my 1st dental consultation with Rupert today which was super detailed and mindful of all my issues, so very satisfied that I stumbled across them in this time. I recommend you specifically 'ask for Rupert' if like me, you endured lockdown123 and desperately need a comprehensive consultation rather than another piecemeal job. I am genuinely delighted with what I got PLUS of course a reassuring 2nd professional opinion is just priceless! Having had my fair share of specialist dentistry incl. an implant, Rupert cut to the chase yet he covered so much! Obviously, I'll be returning for a specialist consultation with a colleague he recommended to work on the best treatment plan, but I just want to put it out there that great customer service AND professional dentistry is not easy to come by on a 1st visit...

Today saw a two hour appointment go smoothly from start to finish for reconstruction of several worn teeth, yes they do wear especially if you drink fizzy drinks so I am told. I am very happy with the result. Thanks not only to Hamish but to all the staff who I dealt with, totally professional with a family friendly atmosphere, hard to accomplish in hospitality never mind a surgery. I cannot recommend Woodborough house highly enough.

20/08/25, busy time, I saw Sofia, Rupert, & Sir Nick, all superb, in fact that refers to all staff, two things in particular stand out, the high tech equipment & the cleanliness of everything, I can't fault this Dentist 5*

Today is a significant milestone for me as it marks the completion of my dental implant procedure with Nick. It gives me the opportunity to sing the praises of not only his exceptional skill but also the kind and cheerful support of the entire team at Woodborough House. Not only have I been impressed by Nick's professionalism and natural empathy but also his attention to detail and experienced dedication towards achieving the perfect result. I feel indeed very privileged to have been under the care of this outstanding dental practice and am so grateful to Nick, his lovely assistant Leah who has shown exceptional patience in adjusting appointments in this difficult COVD19 year, and the fantastic Woodborough team. You are all simply the best!

The staff are always welcoming and so friendly. They help make the experience so much better. I would really recommend Woodborough House if you are someone who gets nervous when going to the dentist since the environment and atmosphere is so welcoming and lovely.

The service was excellent. I did my crowns and Hamish was so meticulous in his approach. The customer service and the end result vastly exceeded my expectations.
