Pleasantly surprised

Pleasantly surprised by my visit to the hygienist. Very nice lady who gave me a thorough clean whilst being kind and gentle taking into consideration of how comfortable I was at all times.

My experience

I came to the dentist 8weeks ago for a check up. The dentist told me to make another appointment for a clean as he had not got the time to do it at this appointment (it was 12 o clock and he was about to leave). I paid £23 for this appointment (it has now gone up to £25). I had the appointment for the clean this week, on arrival I paid another £25 (a check up fee). I did not expect to pay this as I had already had the check previously. I came back to have the clean and polish as the dentist requested, obviously I expected to pay £40 for this appointment not another check up fee too. If the dentist had the time to have cleaned my teeth on the first appointment, I would have paid £63. This week I was charged another £65. I could not understand this. The receptionist insisted I paid this amount of which I did. I left feeling very dissapointed.

My experience

I came 8 weeks ago for a dental check up £23 (at that time, now £25). The dentist said he hadn't time to clean my teeth so would I make another appointment JUST to have them cleaned, which I did. I went for my appointment today for the follow up clean (£40). At reception I was charged £65 plus some brushes I bought (£70.70). I do think I should not have been charged £25 for my appointment today as it was just for a clean and not a check up. The receptionist insisted I paid the £25 of which I did. I AM VERY DISSAPOINTED IN THIS, I think this was totally unfair.
