Our dentist Alex is fantastic. She’s brilliant with the children, spends enough time making them feel happy and relaxed but doesn’t prolong it either. It was our 9 month olds first time going and although he only has 1 tooth she took time to make him laugh which made our older two children laugh as well! Having such a lovely dentist makes the whole experience one that you don’t dread! She’s also to the point with us too but in a good way. Thank you Alex x

Friendly, welcoming staff and excellent dental care. I’m usually quite a nervous patient but the dentist immediately put me at ease and explained everything clearly to me. I won’t dread my next appointment as much after today’s visit.

The ladies that I meet on reception and in the dentist room were lovely ladies, explained everything brilliantly and gave me my opinions. My only issue is as I had toothache I had to have an x-ray, now I explained to the lady doing it that I can’t put the thing in my mouth, I normally just hold the black film in place to do it that way. She was like let’s try. When I said I have tried many times in the past it’s something I can’t do. She proceeded to get me to try like I was a 5 year and not having a clue. I explained again I have tried everything in the past to do it the way she wanted me to do and I can’t. I have a big fear of choking and to put that thing in my mouth for an X-ray is impossible. So after satisfying her she did it the way I had told her I do it in the first place. Now with me being a nervous patient and me already more than once explaining I couldn’t do it the way she wanted me to, it just adds to my anxiety of going to a dentist. I am already dreading going back but because I need to, I have to. So my only advice is they need to listen more when a patient has already told them they can’t do something.
