Procedure was explained very well, my hygienist introduced herself as we had not met before, I was given a choice of options regarding my treatment to consider and the procedure went very well.

Friendly, thorough, very understanding and were very good as we were running late having to travel from north Staffordshire to Derby for treatment.

Dentist was thorough and explained what they were doing. Also, gave advice on next steps and a hygiene checkup again in 4 months. Couldn’t fault the service given.

The dentist didn't have the manners to turn and say hello. I explained the problem, that a filling I had had done previously had broken. He did what seemed like a check up on my other teeth even though I was booked in for a broken filling. I also explained that since he did the fillings, 1 at the top and one at the bottom, they had been very sensitive to contact with each other, like poking a fork accidentally against a filling. It was not like that before he filled them. He explained that the filling was broken and the treatment would be exempt. He said something about it being different I think to last time. I cant remember exactly.
When he looked at the tooth I was there about the second time his mirror briefly touched my tooth and made me jump. Also I have a small split in my top lip which also made me jump when he stretched my lip. I explained that regarding the tooth that was exactly what I was trying to explain about sensitivity. He said I was too nervous to treat and he'd have to refer me to someone else there, I didn't catch who. I said I had come to him for him to do the filling and he said he hadn't got time to do it and that I was not booked in for a filling. I could not believe he was so rude and apart from facing me during the exam he never looked at me.
I am now left with an uncomfortable tooth cutting into my cheek and tongue after waiting some time to get this appointment. I am appalled by his attitude and he needs to learn a big dose of patient care, eg what nurses call bedside manner. The 2 previous dentists I have seen there have been very good, I dont know why the practice cant keep the good dentists. No way will I see him again. I have spent years having to overcome a fear of dentists to the point that I dont consider myself a nervous patient. His attitude if he really thought I was a nervous patient was disgusting.

Alex and her assistant were brilliant caring and understanding. I've not been to her for 2years due to working away from home. I only managed to get this because of the receptionist fantastic understanding I can't thank everyone involved enough

Politeness and professional attitude.

I was very pleased how my dental surgeon conducted my appointment.
However I am disgusted that the surgery have deleted my husband off their system without giving him some notice that that is what they were planning on doing. Especially when it was them who cancelled his last appointment and then when he kept ringing up to try and rebook he couldn’t get through!!! This sort of thing shouldn’t be allowed to happen.
