Phil was brilliant as always — professional, reassuring, and genuinely excellent at his job. Unfortunately, the reception staff completely ruined the experience. They were passive aggressive, dismissive, and seemingly incapable of explaining anything properly.
I understand that I can no longer see Phil as an NHS patient, and while that’s frustrating, I appreciate that it may be outside of their control. The issue is the appalling way this was communicated. Being told, “you just don’t have a dentist now, call us in 4 months,” with absolutely no explanation or empathy is ridiculous and incredibly unprofessional.
The message itself wasn’t the problem — it was the tone, attitude, and complete lack of basic communication skills. The young receptionist in particular had all the warmth and communication ability of a wooden spoon. Patients deserve far better treatment than this.

Checked in quickly by the lovely front desk staff, seen by my Dentist on time. Excellent treatment, painless anaesthetic injection. Chris summarised what my treatment would entail, and talked through every step during the procedure he was assisted by Charlie who was also most professional.
