Appointment
The appointment was OK but I was booked in for 2 fillings and a clean, but the dentist only managed to do one filling and the clean, meaning I have to return for the second one and secondly she then told me that the tooth she filled will probably need to be extracted, so I could of just had it extracted, rather than her temporary filling the tooth

Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it.
I completely understand it is frustrating having to come back for another appointment, however sometimes treatment does take a little longer than expected due to teeth being so unpredictable. We always try to book long enough for the treatment to be completed however sometimes it unfortunately does change.
The dentist stating that the tooth may require extraction in the future is just letting you know the prognosis of the tooth and setting your expectation, which we always strive to do. We want to save teeth if we can and would never want to extract a tooth if something could possibly be done to save it.
Please accept my apology that the appointment did take a little longer than expected and we are sorry for in the annoyance of having to come back to complete the treatment you need.

Excellent
Phil and Wendy went out of there way to make me feel as comfortable as possible for the filling today. Apart from the physical movement, I felt no pain at all.
As usual Phil clearly and calmly explained the process and my options to me as we went through.
I love the fact that he never goes to the expensive option first he starts basic and builds up, picking up on your acceptable levels of acceptance and then explaining the pros and cons of each option.
I am on the monthly plan but my teenage children went as they were NHS and again Phil’s manner and explanation was excellent. As my daughter said, "He is not judgy at all!".

A superb dentist
Always a very professional practice from the reception team, nursing team and the dentist.
Prevention advice was offered, alternative treatments were offered, clean environment, good option of appointment times.
Dr Loughnane is a superb dentist, professional, through and good treatment options were suggested.

Super dentists
We feel very lucky to have access to treatment at Chipping Manor. Wonderful receptionists and super dentists and dental nurses. As a family we have had different treatments here over the years; orthodontic referrals, extractions, hygienist appts and many, many check ups! A special mention and thank you must go to Phil, our dentist.
