Excellent professional staff: they discuss what is wrong, what needs to be done and anything that I could do to improve things. My dentist has a very charming manner and knows her subject. I'm lucky to have access to this NHS practice.

Yeovil Dental Practice
Had an appointment booked last week and had to schedule work off for the appointment to be cancelled an hour before. Rescheduled appointment for today and was given two appointment times on text messages - 9:05 and 9:15. Arrived at 9:00. Sat for 40 minutes while every other person in the waiting room went in. Double checked with reception to find that I had already been crossed out, so they sent a message to the dentist. Went back to waiting room to watch a few more people go in. Went back to reception at 9:55 and was finally seen by dentist after complaining straight away. Appointment lasted less than a minute.

Reception staff could be more professional. The receptionist today was watching a video on social media whilst dealing with me at the counter. The price of dental check ups is daylight robbery, but that’s the same everywhere. Previously I moved from being part NHS/part private to fully private and wasn’t told until I had been for my appointment. I therefore refused to pay full price as I wasn’t informed beforehand - to be fair the manager dealt with this and I paid the part NHS/part private cost on that occasion so was satisfied with how this was dealt with.
