I was expecting a filling to be done at this appointment but instead had to make another one and had to pay upfront even though I can’t have it done for 2 months!! Teeth were barely looked at, no scrape and polish done this time yet charged same amount as usual. Was in and out in 2 minutes!! Felt like just a money making exercise, sorry.

Thank you for your response. I am sorry to hear you were not 100% happy with the service. Your initial appointment was booked as an on the day emergency. This was not with your normal clinician as they was unavailable that day. The aim of an emergency appointment is to get you out of pain and the treatment will depend on the dentist's diagnosis and the available time. During the emergency appointment, the dentist applied a temporary filling to relieve the pain. Unfortunately, as the practice is over capacity for NHS currently, wait times for appointments are longer, hence your follow up appointment, to have a full examination and treatment plan with your regular dentist,was 5 weeks later.
