Chinnek Shaw were the estate agents for my new house, and they were an absolute treat to deal with. The agent who showed me around the houses on his list was knowledgeable and professional, and had clearly listened to me when I told him ahead of the visit what I was looking for in a property. The agent who dealt with the sale was really helpful in allowing me to bring builders etc to the house even within the constraints of Covid and a hugely busy property market. What I really liked was that they had a dedicated person to sales progression, meaning there was someone ensuring solicitors and others in the chain were doing what they needed to do when they needed to do it! All in all their professionalism, efficiency and helpfulness made the whole process as smooth as buying a house can ever be. I'll be getting them in to revalue my house once my work has done, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to sell a property.

Joe helped me find the perfect home with no trouble at all. He was professional throughout, easy to talk to and no problem was too big or too small. If I've ever got a concern or problem (not that I have many!) I know I will always get a quick and helpful response and Joe won't stop until he's sorted everything for us! As a life long renter, I've often dreaded dealing with estate agents when I move home. Often, as a renter, your made to feel like nothing more than an end user and it seems the customer service is reserved for the landlord.
This wasn't the case with Glynis from Chinneck Shaw. She has been informative, personable and approachable throughout the process. When we viewed the property it was clear she wasn't just slinging us the usual robotic sales pitch I've heard a hundred times before. She even mentioned a potential drawback to the property (very thin walls!) that she wanted us to consider. That honesty spoke volumes, I'm used to agents saying whatever they can to get the holding fee out of you.
Glynis is a credit to the company, and our positive interactions with her were in no small part the reason we decided to move forward with the property in question.
Been in a few days now and happy to report that they are still approachable and helpful even after the 'deal is done'. Cheers

The lettings team at the Portsmouth branch, in particular Glynis, have gone above and beyond to help me secure a nice home. The professional and friendly attitudes of put me at ease and helped me get through a tough time but making finding my new home easy. Gylnis then came to my rescue on a Saturday when I had issues with me heating, I had an engineer out within a few hours. I have dealt with Chinneck Shaw in the past and having rented in Portsmouth for the last 10years I can honestly say this is the best service I have had, well done to everyone at Chinneck Shaw.
