I needed to withdraw some money within a short timescale, unfortunately there was some month end system reconciliation problem and the fast payment was overlooked. I was impressed with James Bancroft and Andrew Hirst in how they took personal responsibility for solving the problem, which meant escalating the issue with Nucleus. James kept me updated at all times and I had the impression that he worked out of hours to solve the problem.

They are extremely professional, responsive and personable. They always ensure we understand the rationale behind decisions regarding our portfolio and we absolutely trust them to make decisions in our best interest. The tax and pension advice and keeping up with changes in legislation is probably beyond most mere mortals but we always feel confident in their guidance. Kevin , who seems to carry out a lot of the operational work for us, is so quick to respond and always thorough and on the ball!

Our review meetings are always very relaxed but detailed and informative with Andy giving me an overview with what is happening not just in the world markets but also politically in countries that may affect the growth of my portfolio. This overview is helpful as it then sets the scene for the courses of action taken when managing my funds. The meetings are always in 'plain' English and anything I need further explanation on, or help on understanding is given in an easy to grasp format, which works well for me.

Andy and his assistant Richard are always on hand if I need access to my funds to advise and make sure the most tax efficient route to chosen that impacts the value of my investments the least. Only last year Andy advised the best route of removing funds to purchase a house and also helped with the acquisition of a mortgage for the balance of the purchase. This has enabled me to maximise my portfolio growth whilst I am still able to enjoy the standard of living I have been used to, without causing negative impact to the portfolio.

I am happy with the advice and quality of service provided by Andy, which of course would not be delivered so smoothly without Richard Higgs assisting in any changes required.

The changes Equilibrium has had to make in the way they operate have been pretty invisible to me as a customer. This gives confidence that they have their eye on the ball ie the investment markets and customer returns in difficult times.
