During the pandemic it was comforting to know Equilibrium was still working for me to ensure my investments where still doing there best for me.

The quality and quantity of reassuring information provided by Equilibrium to your clients, has been commendable. The extensive efforts made by the whole Equilibrium organisation, has been second to none. The online methods of communication has worked well.
Overall I would say Equilibrium has provided great value for money, and I will continue to look forward to a very long relationship.

David was very kind and helpful after my husband died. I had been very unsure of how I would be able to manage financially as I had no personal work pension, and was preparing to move house in order to release money on which to live.

Fortunately, he was able to reassure me that I would be able to stay where I am and that he could release money from the portfolio that Equilibrium had invested for us over the many years that we had been with them.

My three children who have been absolutely wonderful in their support for me, were able to join in the initial zoom meeting thst we had, which was brilliant, as I was not in a fit state to comprehend all that was being discussed.

Service has always been excellent since becoming clients 6 years ago. Everything is covered at meetings and sufficient time is given to discuss all matters. Written word and online broadcasts and recordings are all informative and understandable. Output during the first crisis in March 2020 was outstanding and very reassuring at the time.

No problems .... Jason was up to speed with our situation.
However ongoing communications via My Eq is not as convenient as the old method ie plain e mails.

The most important thing for me is trust. I trust Equilibrium to do a good job managing my money. Second is the advice with regards to managing IHT, setting up a VPT etc. This has taken a lot longer than I had anticipated, primarily because of the time taken by the lawyers but we seem to be moving in the right direction. Getting all of this sorted is extremely helpful.

I haven't really needed much advice and assistance in the last six months but Equilibrium have been at hand if and when required. Some of the online seminar/presentations and updates have been very interesting especially those around inter generational planning and inheritance tax.

I miss face to face meetings but the online sessions have worked well and kept everyone safe so far.

I feel that Andrew has a really good knowledge of my financial situation and is able to advise me based on our wider portfolio of assets.

Andy gives well researched and balanced advice, without resorting to financial jargon. The modelling software is excellent and helps to predict your income in the years following retirement.

We invest for income and the concern in recent years has of course has been low interest rates. From 1 April decided to invest £500 a month, which is the first time I have made a regular investment in the years we have been clients of Equilibrium. This is an investment in the newish Global Investment Fund, which I feel fits the bill for us - ie I hope it will produce a yield rather more than the .01 % which is common at the moment! The business was very efficiently done.
Another concern is potential inflation. I found the Equilibrium pieces on the subject very interesting. The arguments advanced on both sides of the case were compelling. To approach it by postulating both sides of the argument was clearly sound thinking. Some of my regular reading is the financial section of the Telegraph By coincidence last week their Diary of a Private Investor was on the same subject. According to him the majority opinion amongst the experts is that we need not fear an excessive increase in inflation caused by the vast rise in the money supply to cope with the pandemic caused economic problems. The Private Investor is with the minority and he does not agree. He is about to make changes in his portfolio to counter such an increase. I await with interest to learn just what steps he is going to take. Watch this space!
Who was it that said that if you laid all the experts end to end they would not reach a conclusion?

We receive up to date information on the portfolio and just as important have full exclamations and reviews on market trends and how Equilibrium will respond. Communications are excellent.

Not just Andrew but also Nilesh work together seamlessly to provide a succinct summary during our 1/4 meetings. Minutes of the meetings are promptly produced and any actions are carried out in a timely fashion.
