Continued Good Service
Having been a client of Equilbrium since mid 2009, I have been used to a consistantly good, very professional level of service. I have always found the staff at Equilibrium very approachable and easy to deal with. I have been very impressed during this last year at the level of communication with clients during the financial 'crash' associated with the onset of the pandemic, which helped to explain what was going on in the markets and Equilibrium's plan to navigate through the problems and, ultimately, to plot a course back to growth in the value of the portfolios. It was obvious just how hard the staff at Equilibrium were working to provide clear updates on the market and portfolios and what Equilibrium's strategy and evolving tactical approach would be.

My Pension, Me and Mickey Armstrong from Equilibrium
I have been using Equilibrium for only a short period of time and been lucky enough to have meetings with Mickey on a few occasions before the covid Crisis. When the covid crisis escalated to a point when it started to have an effect on my fund value Mickey phoned me over the the weekend to reassure me and ensure I was happy with the situation.
Communication has always been a strong point with Equilibrium and its great to know that Mickey and the team are only a phone call away. The investment team are clearly on the ball and my fund looks better than I would have expected. Thank you to you all.

Taking care
Overall we feel Equilibrium are always abreast of current events both Nationally and in the wider world, we are comfortable in the knowledge that our Portfolio is being well looked after.
Given the woeful returns on normal investments such as Banks & Building society for us the type of investments offered by Equilibrium are the only way to achieve a reasonable return on our Portfolio without being exposed to excessive risk.

Review feedback for 2020
I am impressed with the personal service and insights offered by Jason and Jamie. The review meetings -either f2f or Zoom - generally allow sufficient time to address ad-hoc questions and solicit their opinion.
Outside of these scheduled reviews perhaps Jason could be personally more pro-active with ideas and guidance, especially given market volatility, my additional investments in 2020 and the changes to my personal circumstances. That said, Jamie is always responsive to my questions; if he can't help he seeks others in Equilibrium who can and facilitates the dialogue.
In terms of user experience, neither Portals - Equilibrium and NucleusGo - do not compare well in terms of ease of use or features, with other FS portals I've used. I have pointed out bugs on Nucleus and lack of consistency between different parts of NucleusGo. Especially considering this is Financial Services, and confidence is vital in terms of secure money management, they don't inspire confidence.

Thank you for taking the time to respond and for your feedback. The scheduled review meetings are of course designed to facilitate discussions relating to your circumstances and highlight opportunities where your situation can be improved. The frequency of such meetings can vary and you can of course ask at any time for an adhoc meeting; however, your comments regarding pro-activity have been noted and passed on, although I am pleased to read that the service is generally good. I’m also sorry to hear about your experience of both our portal and that of Nucleus. Our own portal was actually rolled out to a wider audience much quicker than originally intended due to the impact of Coronavirus and the need for a more secure communication channel when the first lockdown resulted in a working from home environment. From that perspective, it has been successful; however, we do recognise that there remains scope to enhance the user experience and we regularly engage with our own provider to give feedback and suggestions for improvement based on feedback from clients. Finally, I will pass on your comments regarding NucleusGo to the platform. Communications Feedback - December 20
We are very pleased with the regular newsletters and updates on market information.
Special mention must be made to the latest edition of Equinox. This is always written very well, with detailed articles on financial topics that are both very informative and easy to understand.
The investment review by Mike Deverell was very detailed and explained the topics well.

Covid follow up review
Mickey and Ben helped with my techie problems and we were able to discuss thoroughly all the relevant issues. Mickey was very knowledgable, despite it being our first meeting. I felt very comfortable even though we had no face to face contact.

Excellent general communications from Equilibrium
During the last 6 months , Equilibrium have continued to provide frequent updates on a number of topics using various electronic methods - blogs, documents to read, seminars to dial into etc. As well as information on factual things like investment performance and market performance, there have also been “ softer “ topics like how you are feeling and coping with the pandemic. You can choose to interact as much or as little as you want. I have felt that I have been kept well informed of what is happening during these unusual times.

Expert management of recovery
What has stood out about the Service, which I have received throughout this difficult year, so far, from Equilibrium, is that my Portfolio has recovered the losses in its value that it suffered early and during the summer period in 2020.
This recovery has been due to the expert management and knowledge of the Financial markets by the staff at Equilibrium. The action taken to achieve this is something that I could not have done myself.
