As is the case for everyone, 2020 has been a very difficult year for me and my family but I am very grateful that the one thing I haven't had to worry about was my financial situation - partly because I am very lucky to have a good pension but also because the team at Equilibrium have kept me informed and steered me through these turbulent times. It was good to receive regular updates and know everyone was still working on our behalf - thank you.

The online presentations during lockdown were a great comfort in these troubled times. I continue to be impressed at the performance of the portfolio and it’s recovery following the shock to world markets in March this year.

This years review was conducted via the web due to the social distancing. I felt the service was just as good as a face to face review. Paul Farrugia my adviser is very helpful & informative.

The review was carried out in a very friendly and relaxed manner but was nevertheless thorough and tested and probed all the key areas.

The big picture is that we feel our investment is well looked after and Equilibrium is always there for advice and assistance if required.

I am always impressed with the service I get. Everything is made clear and any paperwork shown makes sense. The staff are friendly and are keen that the service is efficient and clear.

I was surprised that Andy and the team managed to give the same quality of meeting using Microsoft team. All of the problems with making the connection on MS happened at my end. Chloe did her best trying to talk me through it, but you cant teach an old dog new tricks. The presentation was nearly up to the high standard that would expect if you visited the office. Any problems that were only minor were probably the internet connection.

We have received consistent high quality advice from Andrew Hirst. We would also like to commend the work of Richard Higgs our Client Manager which has been prompt, reliable and accurate. The use of video since the lock down has been a useful enhancement to the service.

Before I decided to invest my inheritance with the help of Equilibrium, Paul gave me all the time and proper listening and several meetings and time to mull it over until I was ready, since then he has confirmed my trust in him. He knows my personal, deeply emotional issues with having and spending money, both really difficult for me - long story, and he genuinely helps me to deal with them. His expertise, and that of his colleagues, I cannot judge, only trust, but his respect and genuine care for me as a person is exquisite. And from there he is able to give me advice, which seems relevant and helpful to me. - Jack Williams in the in between times has been very understanding and professional with me, and supported me with completing forms and sorting other matters out. - I feel appreciated, respected and properly supported, in a way having little money was easier because I have learned how to live with it. These two help me to increasingly enjoy my good fortune.
Another matter I would like to mention separately, is that I am dyslexic and on the Aspergus spectrum.. I told Paul at the very beginning. He has always treated me with the utmost respect, never patronised me, put in place what I told him will help me, and I feel at ease, supported and accepted exactly how and who I am.
