Only interested in their own management fees
I'm afraid my entire experience has been extremely negative. I feel unheard in my concerns and absolutely not valued as a client. In fact, I had rated this question as a 0, but the system would not allow me to submit the review, so even this is overrated in my opinion.

Financial investments and Power of Attorney
VG on personal service. While in Hong Kong I had experience of other companies offering financial advice. TFG was far superior. Since returning to the UK (2014) I have had no experience of other advisers.
Longterm I have been concerned with sustainability and ethical investments and though initially not very responsive TFG have made efforts to explore funds that meet my requirements. I have also been keen to explore/invest in new and renewable energy technologies but it appears that such funds are too risky for retirees.

Scrupulous handling of the portfolio
Fry is generous in giving advice: the reps never say that a question is beyond their remit, or that their answer will entail a surcharge!
My son, who is not a Fry client as such, has received useful one-off advice on an unrelated matter.
Fry is also punctilious about arranging periodic face-to-face reviews of the client's entire portfolio: video-conferencing has enlarged the possibilities for such discussions.
