I used to be hesitant about using the GP service - due to the fact that it was slow and extremely difficult to schedule an appointment. I didn’t use the service for over five years; I would rather queue up at the A&E when I had sickness like symptoms. But to my surprise, it is way more better and less stressful these days to get an appointment; ie, online or via phone. This experience may not apply to everyone but, I believe it is a great step forward. And I hope it continues this way!

Long time patient at this practice. The staff and doctors are always very helpful and friendly. At my most recent appointment the doctor listened to my concerns, examined me and offered advice and guidance, alongside suggested treatment. I was not entirely happy with the plan, and the doctor listened to my concerns and was very open to my thoughts. An alternative approach was agreed. I felt that I was listened to and understood and that I had agency in my care.

Always kind and helpful
Angela, my nurse, was very kind and attentive. She gave me all the instructions and recommendations I needed. The reception team is always kind and helpful. The self-registration on the entrance screen is practical and makes it fast.

At seventy two years of age I used the online process for the first time to book an appointment to see a doctor.
I found the website itself very easy to use. The surgery responded to my request within a few hours. And I was seen by a doctor the very next day.
Where I had time to discuss my medical concerns with the doctor. It wasn't rushed.
I have since been referred to see a specialist at a local hospital. Which has already acknowledged it will send me an appointment in the next few days.
Overall I am impressed with the service I have received so far.
