Overall excellent service and I am a new patient so it was my first contact with the surgery. Vast improvement on surgery I used to be with.

Initial telephone consultation experience
I recently booked an initial telephone consultation with the St Peters surgery. The reception team were helpful and got the consultation scheduled in which was about 2 weeks after the initial enquiry. Reminders were received by text, although somewhat confusingly they do say "appointment at St Peters Surgery" despite it being a telephone consultation. I did call the surgery to confirm however after a 30 minute hold I decided to download the my GP app, which did confirm it was a telephone consultation.
The consultation itself was fantastic, Dr Ali was incredibly friendly, asked all the right questions and I felt very comfortable discussing the issue. We went through the options at the end of the call and had a prescription ready in my NHS app the following day. Thank you to the team.

Good consultation by phone
I was given an advance telephone appointment with Dr. Ali for 9.30. On the day, the surgery (Lucy?) rang to say that due to staff shortages, she was having to rearrange all appointments. I explained that mine was not urgent, so just let me know a new day/time.
She was grateful, and Dr. Ali phoned me that afternoon and discussed my request for a Dexa scan, and agreed to progress it.
I am still waiting to hear from the hospital, so I will follow it through if I don’t hear back in the next couple of weeks. The only improvement would have been a quick call/text to advise if the timing of the new appointment- fortunately, I was able to take the call.

Efficiently contacted for the RSV vaccination despite being very new to the area and even given a slot the same day I booked it. Quickly and efficiently administered. Lovely new premises and helpful, friendly staff who made one feel one was in good hands.
