The New Surgery

Much has changed, but all staff and Doctors are still friendly and informative. The waiting area is very cold and clinical and could do with some colour.

Fantastic surgery

1st time going to the new surgery location, greeted by a friendly receptionist, waiting time was great, went into my appointment on time. The professionalism and friendliness continued, was not made to feel like I was just another person on the list for the day.

Recent visit feedback

Was able to call the surgery and request a callback and within 5 mins I had a callback. Was so nice to not have to keep calling. Also when I had my appointment I was seen promptly

Shingles vaccine

I saw from the waiting room screen that I was eligible for the shingles vaccine. I booked an appointment and attended. I was informed at the appointment that I was not yet eligible until September. It would have been useful to know this during the booking.

Great communication

When I rang at 8am I was 17th in line and was answered within 10 mins in question. The Dr rang me back in just over an hour's time as I was in too much pain to get to the surgery.I was really impressed. I’ve moved only 3 weeks ago so it was first time ringing and the service was very good.

First visit to surgery

Easy to find. Think entrance doors have a bit of a problem, could do with being automatic. I know my friend couldn’t push them open if she came. Large open airy reception.
Did notice the smell of cigarettes, could be the person in front of me. I do have an ultra sensitive nose. Also had walked past someone smoking outside. Smoking area should be well away from entrance.
Would be good if GP had room closer to waiting area, I was having an asthma attack and walking down to bottom of corridor was a struggle for me.

Efficient Service

I rang at 8am to request an appointment for my two year old son. My call was dealt with quickly and I was allocated a morning appointment. The parking at the new hub was a huge improvement from the previous location. The waiting area was very clean and bright. We were seen by a doctor at the allocated time and they checked my son thoroughly. Gave a diagnosis and prescribed appropriate medication. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. A successful and efficient whole experience.

Excellent nurse

The nurse we had was so lovely and caring and very caring regards to my daughter having her injection, we received all the information we needed, didn’t get her name but she is a credit to the practice, the building itself was so nice and open and clean.

Fast prescription dispensing

I order repeat prescriptions through the NHS app. My nominated pharmacy received the prescription the day after I requested it. Very efficient.
