Chloe was friendly, happy and explained why she was carrying out the health check. She explained the tests, the results, and what each meant. She then spent time giving me information about the implications and where and how to improve the scores. She was reassuring about any of my concerns and answered my questions in detail. She was able to give me information about the website for further information and support. She also raised the necessary blood tests and talked to me about collecting the results and what I may need to do going forward and what I can do at home to monitor my health. A very informative and supportive experience with a lovely lady.

Blood test, immunisation and BP reading
I was seen punctually by the Practice Nurse and a Student Nurse accompanying her. They checked the reason for my visit and explained their tasks to me. The blood sample was taken by the student and was done well and painlessly. The Pneumonia Vaccine booster was given painlessly by the Nurse and the Blood pressure reading was done by the Student. I was given a warning about possible after effects of the immunisation and advice on resting and taking paracetamol if necessary.
My GP texted me on Monday morning to give me the result of my blood test, and will organise a repeat in 6 weeks time.

We moved to broadstairs 2 1/2 years ago and I think we are so lucky to have such a good doctor’s surgery.

Excellent as always
Although there was a fairly long wait for the appointment, the experience we had (and always have) at the surgery was excellent. Reception staff are always helpful and do their best to accommodate and Dr Goldberg takes time to listen and is great with nervous young children.

Thorough and listened to my concerns
Used the e-consult for first time. Whilst I found I needed to lie on it for it to go through (i.e. severity of symptoms - if I marked true severity I could not submit the form and was instead instructed to speak to someone yet when I spoke to someone was advised to do an e-consult or “try” and get appointment by phoning at 8 am next day), I preferred this system than calling as I could explain all symptoms for the doctor to review before an appointment was given. Dr Goldberg called early the next day and, as always, was thorough and listened to my concerns before prescribing suitable medication.

Extremely thorough consultation
I have just had a total knee replacement and have to discuss pain relief on a weekly basis. This is done by means of a telephone consultation with my doctor. She is extremely thorough and takes great care to prescribe the correct pain relief for me.

Professional and efficient service
Attended a pre-booked appointment with Nurse Ullrika for a Shingles vaccination. I was also invited to have my blood pressure checked as apparently there was no recent record of it on file. I was pleased to be offered this. All in all a positive experience and my appointment was on time.
