First of all very polite at reception and helpful, that goes a long way. The nurse also very good and explained what the injection was for and side effects I might have, so please let them know how good your staff are

Problems after Freezing of wart on hand
I had a wart on my finger treated by a dermatologist which went wrong. I was seen on a number of occasions by Tracy who was very good dealing with the problem I had and cannot thank her enough for all her patience and understanding of my situation being in a wheelchair and finding it more and more difficult getting to the surgery.

Unexpected Dr's appointment
I went for an ECG, my heart was racing and was told that I need to see a Dr. I already had an appointment to see the nurse practitioner. But within half an hour I'd had my ECG, nurse practitioner and had an appointment to see the Dr which wasn't planned, all very good, great service, brilliant

Great service
The receptionists are always so helpful and accommodating where they can be, I hit them with a list of stuff and they happily sorted it all for me. The nurses are always very pleasant and I have never had to wait long for my apt.
It is nice that there is finally a permanent dr now, and she kindly agreed to see me at the end of her surgery. The only downside was her answer to a couple of my questions, which was I don’t have the answers for you but didn’t try and find out

Orchard House
I had a random blood pressure check at the pharmacy and the pharmacist sent me to the doctors surgery due to very high readings. I was seen by a doctor later that day and my medication was increased. I was instructed to measure my blood pressure at home for ten days and then report the readings. The doctor is following up with a telephone call today. I had a good response from the surgery on this occasion. They are doing their best to help, but with increasing numbers of elderly and frail people who were born in the population explosion just after the war, combined with coping with obesity, recreational drug usage, alcoholism etc I can understand why the NHS is at breaking point.

Diagnosis
After being ill for weeks and dealing with the Nurse/practitioners, I finally spoke to a doctor, who listened, diagnosed Bronchitis or pneumonia and prescribed the meds I needed to get well. Although I'm still ill, I'm hopeful I'll be better next week. The doctor sounded like she was on the ball. It was refreshing and I would have given a higher rating if I had received a face-to-face and physical examination. I think doctors should always see you first to properly diagnose you.

We have just recently moved to the area and registered at Orchard House. The treatment we have received, from Registration to repeat prescription to booking a blood test has been absolutely first class!
