Blood Results

I had blood tests on 27/3. Went in to get results on 8th & 15th April, was told both times they were back but not seen by Dr, so was told I as not allowed them. I said what if they were abnormal, was told that would have been contacted if they were. My argument is how can they tell if they haven’t been reviewed. Surely they should have been seen by now and that’s Drs have admin time. I have worked as a Nurse for 44 years and know how the system works and feel this is poor practice, any treatment if needed would be hindered.

Poor communication

I have had many tests on urine a scan and blood tests but have received no info on why I am having these tests. I am very unhappy about this!

Routine blood tests and B/P check

Easy to book day, time that suited me, a warm welcome on arrival by reception and an on-time appointment with the friendly and very professional nurse, all tests completed within my allotted time slot.

Great surgery

I have been a patient with Orchard House Surgery for 23years. I have always found receptionist, nurses and doctors fantastic. Feel very supported especially as my husband is receiving palliative care.

It is good you can see a doctor now and again but you need to be seen, it was ok up to covid.
So why not now.

Thank you for your feedback. We have face to face appointments available on the day and in advance, as well as telephone appointments. To be able to increase demand at the practice, not all consultations require a face to face appointment. This may be determined by the clinician that you speak with on the day and then if they feel they need to examine you they will of course arrange the face to face appointment with you.

I phoned for an appointment, didn’t have to wait too long. Reception were very polite and accommodating.

Call back service works well. Doctors' phone appointments were punctual and informative. Other staff were courteous and efficient.

Rang at 8.00am, got through as first in queue and got face to face appointment at my request with dr by 10.10am.

Nurse appointment

The appointment was on time and I was greeted on entry to the treatment room. The nurse was polite and the treatment over very quickly and I was reassured for my future on departure.
