Unless your results are marked as urgent, the clinician will ask for a routine appointment or phone call to discuss these with you if there is anything out of the ordinary. If your results are urgent, the clinical team will specify the timing these need to be booked in by (e.g. 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days etc) and the reception team will arrange this with you as needed.

I was given no help from the receptionist

I was told my wife was not urgent and to ring 111. I waited a day and it was referred back to doctor, 5 days to get appointment, my wife was falling over, I'm not very pleased
