Prompt GP appointment
Following a clinical procedure and the results, I made an urgent request for an appointment with my GP. The reception team are always very helpful and an urgent appointment was arranged early the same morning. The GP, Dr. Bhatia, took time to listen to my concerns and made prompt arrangements for me. She is very approachable and very personable. As always, the entire team here at the surgery are supportive and ready to assist their patients.

Last minute appointment
Had a last minute appointment after doing an e consult. Examined by a doctor and diagnosed with a chest infection. Prescribed medication, collected on the way home. The best efficient service I've had in years.

My appointment with the nurse was good. A very professional lady and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of trouble with my shins and my dressings worked miracles. Had a second appointment a week later and again very happy with my treatment. Thank you.

Feeling very poorly
I was very poorly but tried to soldier on at work which I then paid the price for as I then had to make an appointment. I tried on my day off on the Friday which failed but then I got advice to contact the pharmacist which I did, he advised me to get appointment with the Dr so I rang again was advised to try again on the Monday. On the Monday I was lucky to get an appointment which the doctor prescribed a week of anti-viral tablets. The dr was amazing, could see I was very run down so rested with her advice to recover and took my full week of tablets, glad to say feeling much better, thank you.

Diabetes Review
I saw the Diabetic nurse to review my recent results. Ms Cheryl Goodger was very welcoming and professional. She talked to me about my medication and came up with a way forward, which I agreed to. It felt as if the appointment was a very positive experience for myself. I came away feeling good in myself. Thank you very much.

Breathless
Dr Folaranmi Olusola listened to me and was thorough in her examination. She prescribed antibiotics for my chest infection which I needed. She also arranged a blood test. I was impressed that she booked me a follow up appointment before Xmas to review how I am.

Xray result on knee.
I was seen by Holly, practice nurse for knee xray results. X-rays showed advanced osteoarthritis. Holly referred me to physio and to see orthopaedic consultant. I left the surgery at 10.30 and at 1.30pm I received an email from the hospital offering an appointment for 5th January. Incredible service. During my first appointment with Holly we spent quite a long time talking about my husband who had recently died. I had nursed him at home until he passed away and found the emotional ride of caring for him very difficult. Holly was a great help that day. I would also like to say how fantastic the whole team were in helping me through an incredibly difficult time. Thank you.

Was a F2F appointment necessary
I have prolapsed discs in the base of my spine. From time to time I am in agony with this and need stronger medication. This could have been done via a consultation on the phone rather than make me travel whilst in pain to see a doc who didn’t examine me and just asked a few questions. I got the medicine I needed but the journey, sitting and walking were excruciating. I feel this could have been done over the phone and saved me from a lot of pain.
