Excellent service from all concerned

All staff on front desk did their very best to get answers to my query. Doctor was very good in her explanation & promptly prescribed the correct treatment for me, kindly ringing me to keep me informed of results of tests, etc.

To discuss lesions on face and back

I did not have to wait long before the doctor. He discussed my problem, viewed the lesions and suggested that they could be removed but a dermatologist ought to give a second opinion. There was no pressure to hurry up and leave - just like the old days.

Shingles vaccine problem

I recently booked an appointment for the 2nd part of my shingles vaccine which I was told back in March should be 6 months later. However, when I attended in September, the nurse informed me that the gap between the 2jabs should be at least 186 days. As it had only been 177 days I was unable to have the injection. I have no complaint with the nurse who was most sympathetic, my suggestion is that the receptionists who book the appointments are informed of this minimum gap so that no-one else attends too soon for what is, in effect a wasted appointment.

I saw the nurse who specialises in cancer

I met Norma for a chat regarding my breast cancer. Such a lovely lady, very friendly and informative. She said if ever I needed some advice, she is only at the end of the phone. I was concerned about losing my hair but she was able to give me a few insights of other patients' experiences. Norma also understood how I was feeling, the fact that I feel so well but possibly quite soon that all could change. I felt at ease and left with a smile on my face
