I phoned up to get an appointment. I couldn’t get an appointment but I had a phone call back. Spoke to someone and got antibiotics.

Had a blood test done by a helpful nurse.
My experience was positive. It was difficult to find a vain but she was careful and thoughtful. In the end I left feeling positive.

Not happy
Nurse practitioner Gloria did not listen telling me what MY body was feeling!!! Totally not the case so my notes read as if I make things up, my confidence in the woman is 0. She has made me feel that going to the doctors is wasting her time. I am still in pain & hoping that her comments have not put me to bottom of the waiting list for a scan.
Her first words to me was questioning doctors actions in sending me for a X-ray, which was not down to me & at least he was trying to look at possible causes.
All I think is if someone with depression or anxiety had their notes written in the way she treated me she would cause more harm than good.
As you can guess I am still very unhappy this is the first time I can actually say I have no confidence in a medical person.
I have complained to the surgery.
Other than this everyone else seems to do what they can but appointments need to be made easier to book.

Operation incisions redressing.
Have had the incisions from a bilateral inguinal hernia operation checked and re-dressed on the 16th & 23rd May.
Both nurses were very cheerful and helpful. A great service.
