Had a phone call from GP. Listened but I didn’t think she listened properly. Said I had infection. Antibiotics issued. Still got the issue. Scared to get examined now. But I think it’s something else

Phone consultation with GP
I was able to explain my problem which the GP understood. As a result, I have a face to face appointment with GP this week which the receptionist at the clinic sorted out in a professional and friendly manner

Nurse visit
I attended to see the nurse for an injection. The time of appointment may have been late a little, but it was obvious the team were working at full capacity and still smiling with the pressure they were under. The nurse seen was kind and helpful and made me feel valued. Thank you.

Fantastic
I filled out an online consultation form to advise of an issue and request a medication and I had a response and a prescription sent to the chemist in 15 minutes! I was astonished and very grateful. Thank you.

Church Lane Surgery - Doctor telephone call and appointment booking
Doctor called next day after I consult and asked in-depth questions which I was very satisfied with. He asked me to phone the surgery office much I did. The receptionist was very polite and helpful but yet I still can’t be seen until the 5th March, which is very disappointing. But I do understand how stretched the GP surgeries are nationwide at present.

Sadly the demand for primary care services is extremely high and up and down the country the system is at breaking point. We are providing the most amount of appointments we can safely. E Consult
I did an e-consult last Wednesday, the 28th January & the doctor made a referral for an ultrasound for me as I have a large lump in my throat. A week later, I still haven’t heard anything, which I find upsetting as it’s marked as ‘urgent.'
I also popped into the surgery on the 2nd February and asked for a blood test, which I think should be done given the lump might be a thyroglossal cyst, but no pre-bookable appointments were available.

Thank you for your feedback. Your referral was emailed to the hospital the same day but unfortunately we have no control over the hospital wait times. Once we have your results, if the GP requires blood tests, they will request these.

Doctor call and physio
Very good call with the Doctor, referred me for a hearing test at the hospital and for physio / MRI scan for the knee.
Was able to get a physio appointment the very next morning! The lady I saw was brilliant, quickly identifying that my VMO was not activating, and gave me some exercises to work through until the MRI scan is completed.
Since starting these exercises, my knee already feels better, healthier, and more stable, and definitely feels like I’m moving in the right direction, which has given me a lot of confidence and motivation.
