Church Lane Surgery - Never an appointment
Tried it n 2 occasions. Never an appointment. Went in yesterday. A nurse & 2 staff chatting with a couple about vaccinations. A really fun chat they were all having. Another women sat at reception and didn’t even acknowledge me. I asked to see someone as I feel like I’m dying can barely breathe. ‘Computer says No’ call tomorrow. Did that told to call 111. Disgusting.
There were no patients in the surgery I think they all hate actually working. Someone needs to check their appointments and assess what they do. I will report them to council and MP as they need investigating.

I attended the surgery and was seen on time. Ms Hardy was very pleasant. I was supposed to use the blood pressure machine but find that there is no privacy and find this a little embarrassing. A little screening would be nice.

Get a phone consultation which ended with me needing an appointment and still waiting for an appointment, so very poor but normal for Church Lane, even been in and asked, still no appointment

Sadly the demand for primary care services is extremely high and up and down the country the system is at breaking point. We are providing the most amount of appointments we can safely. I do hope that you can understand that the system is currently in high demand but we are trying our best for all patients at the practice.

GP visit
It was nice to have a face to face meeting with the doctor and be able to explain my concerns with him. I feel that by meeting him in person he fully understood my condition and was able to treat me appropriately.

Church Lane Surgery - Pneumonia vaccination
The nurse was very punctual and pleasant. She told me about possible side effects etc. The nurse appointments are always fine but you still can't get an appointment for a doctor. The receptionists are sometimes very curt and unhelpful, ring back tomorrow at 8am is their mantra.

Sent to hospital from doctors
The staff, nurses and doctor went above and beyond to make sure I was looked after. Everyone was so kind and understanding - they put me at ease and put up with my crying. Can’t thank them enough for all that they did.
