Really pleased with the nurse I saw Jane, explained everything she was doing and why in-depth, that was interesting and the first time that had been explained in full. Was polite and friendly and showed genuine concern on my blood pressure and weight. Emailed my doctor with my readings straight away.

The Gp telephoned me in response to my on-line request, 10 days later. Initial enquiry was in relation to HRT but because I have an on-going lower back complaint he offered to see me, which was kind although it was a pointless exercise, as all he could do was give me more painkillers instead of trying to resolve the position. He also said he couldn't refer me to specialist. I had to contact physiotherapist and they make the assessment. I'm in acute pain and cannot walk without being in agony despite having an MRI scan on lower back. No one wants to help me and i don't want to keep taking drugs that make me feel awful.

Saw Dr Laing here. He was very kind, polite and helpful. Made me feel at ease. Good parking facilities which helps when you are poorly and can’t walk far. Good service all round. Happy patient.

I asked for a face to face with a doctor and my dad and all got was the doctor will phone your dad. A doctor can't diagnose on the phone sorry.

Thank you for your feedback. At present, in line with national guidance, we are a phone first service. However, the GP has appointment slots that only they can use, to bring in patients for a Face2Face (F2F) when appropriate, following the initial telephone consultations. Many consultations do not require a F2F appointment, particularly when we are undertaking investigations - and some diagnosis can be made over the phone. We apologise if this was not made clear. We are still seeing a lot of patients F2F....when appropriate. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for monthly updates!

I needed a quick chat with a GP regarding my prescription. Which happened after a month of filling in online forms and trying to call. In the meantime I had to temporarily take a lower dosage of medication, which had a huge impact on my day yo day life.
