We got treated very well and thank you for caring for us in these unprecedented times that we live in currently, it's been a scary time what with being diagnosed with copd and emphysema it's good to know your at the end of the phone should we need you. WASTED JOURNEY
Booked B12 appointment at Paulsgrove as only available appointment without having to travel miles via 3 buses.
As appointment was 12 days ahead HCA refused to administer injection.
I am still trying to achieve a "local" appointment.
I dislike being addressed by my first name by people I have never met! I am not on first name terms with staff.

Great Surgery
I transferred from Hanway to Kingston Crescent when Hanway closed. Apart from the difficulties getting through on the phone, I have found the surgery to be excellent. The time I was given at an appointment in December 2020 was 1 hour! A complete review and a thorough examination led to finding a problem I had not come in for! A consultant follow up was arranged and is now being prescribed for.
I was also given both Covid Jabs in December and January. Fantastic organisation.
For the first time in I also had my repeat prescription proactively reviewed by the Doctor over the phone.
Very happy to be registeredwith the Paulsgrove Group.

Good to be able to discuss issue with GP over the phone and discuss options. Didn't need a face to face appointment so being able to speak to the GP was quick and action plan put into place without any delays waiting for an appointment.

Great once you actually get an appointment
It took two weeks to actually get an appointment as the phone system is useless. You have to phone at 10am but they only have a handful of appointments available. The system kicks you off if you miss it by a split second. After loads of attempts I was told to do an e consult which told me to ring 111. I knew I needed my GP as I needed to change the dose of my medication. Eventually after two weeks a receptionist had to put the e consult through as an admin request. I was then text to say to expect a phone call on Monday. No phone call but the GP phoned on Tuesday and was really helpful and understanding. If it hadn’t have been for the admin/phone system error I would have rated higher as the GP really took the time to listen, understand and advise.

Tetanus
I needed a Tetanus injection after I accidentally put a spike through my finger. Called in to the Allaway Avenue Surgery and an appointment was arranged immediately. It was a walk in appointment which I did, saw the Doctor and told him what I had done, he gave me the injection there and then, just what I wanted. Excellent. Thankyou.
