Paulsgrove Surgery

I prefer to use Paulsgrove Surgery. It is closer to home, the doctor I see is patient with me and I find the nurses especially are so kind and make me feel relaxed.

I choose to go to Paulsgrove because the car parking is easy and I do not have to climb the stairs. The waiting room is peaceful, the staff friendly and the doctor is usually on time. The doctor discusses the problem with you and helps you to understand the treatment.

On the few occasions that I have visited Paulsgrove surgery there was always a smile
from the receptionist and always very helpful. the doctors that I saw did not rush you and explained everything to you

The Nurse that I see makes you feel very comfortable, I would recommend.

Report on recent ultra scan but other than that the Doctor did not know why I am short of breath as she failed to look into my case before I arrived into the consulting room == not very impressed with her

I'm very happy with my recent appointment at Paulsgrove Surgery, I arrived a bit early for my appointment but was seen and out before my appointment time, and I didn't feel rushed.

Excellent service, from booking my appointment to turning up. No waiting time, staff friendly and helpful.

I used the NHS website to find out my local GP after moving and it came up as Paulsgrove. I took my son down to register him and was told to phone to get a routine appointment. I managed, a week later, to get through to the receptionist and make an appointment. During the appointment I was given an emergence referral to a peadiatrician. I was then phoned later in the week to say that I had to register my son at a different GP due to the post code. I confirmed that this would not effect his referral and was told that as the referral had already taken place this would not happen. I contacted the surgery the following week as I had not heard anything about a follow up appointment, to which I was told that the referral had never been placed and that they would not do it due to my post code and there was nothing they would do to help. I think this is unacceptable and has now put a minimum delay of a month on to my 6 month olds emergency referral.

Rude and unpleasant staff, doctors are almost never there.
