I booked in to my appointment via the log in system. I only waited 1 min before being called. The nurse was personable and chatty relaxing my nerves. I left after the appointment finished, a maximum of 10 mins.

This appointment was for a routine blood test. I had been texted to make the appointment which I did on line. The nurse who did the test was lovely, very warm, and caring. The appointment kept to time, and whilst I was there I was weighed and had my blood pressure taken (the first time it has been done by a professional since the onset of Covid.

I had an appointment which I booked on line via a link I was sent for a covid booster, I arrived at the Doctors in Kingston crescent on Saturday morning 8.55am to find the surgery closed and there were 2 other people also waiting for covid booked appointments, one lady of 83 had taken two busses to attend her appointment she had made her appointment by telephone, after waiting half an hour we all gave up and left ?

Thank you for your feedback. Some of our COVID clinics were cancelled due to delivery date changes, however cancellation was advised via text and telephone to those effected, we apologise to those who did not receive the notification.

Blood test was fine.
Still waiting to hear about you sorting out my COPD phone appointment as I was unable to get one when I tried to do it online. I asked reception to sort it out when I had my blood test but it was obvious "jobsworth" was not interested hence the feedback given here.

Dr Shepherds unprofessional behaviour

Absolutely appalling. I called the surgery today to let them know that I had reduced my meds and Dr Shepherd called me. She completely ignored what I was telling her and went straight in to say that she was going to remove my Oramorph that day. I explained that I had a plan already with Dr Monnery and she said that I wasnt at a supermarket and couldn't just decide what I wanted. I said that I understood that but would rather wait to speak to Dr Monnery. Throughout the entire conversation she was bordering on aggression, was extremely rude, pressurised me and talked over me every time I tried to talk. Then I noticed that she had written some notes on my patient record saying that I was pressuring her, I wasnt engaging and I was a difficult patient. This in itself upset me and caused me a huge amount of stress which isnt good for my FND and half of what she had written was false. I am not a difficult patient if I am listened to. I have filed a complaint and am awaiting some contact from the surgery. I have urged them to listen to the recording of the call.
