Very good
Can’t fault the Gp
Following an econsult was given a prompt appointment. Found the GP to be very thorough and considerate. Can’t fault the Gp. But would have preferred not to be met by a receptionist that when I approached the desk shouted across the one I was speaking to “does it not work then” she was referring to the automatic system for logging in, I wasn’t aware that it was there. When I said I don't use this surgery usually and I didn’t know it was there, she back down a bit, justifying herself saying oh they keep saying it’s not working and just come to the desk. I appreciate the job is stressful but her frustration shouldn’t be put onto the patients.
Other than the above all good.

An anxious patient put at ease
Went for routine blood test. Used self check in for the first time, easy to navigate. Seen by a very happy, helpful nurse. An anxious patient put at ease!!

Blood test, 10 min appointment - wrong results? & not online
The Nurse & the appointment itself where perfect... but:
On the 1st June, the next day, I received a text message saying my results where ALL NORMAL with no action required.
On the 3rd June, I received a text message saying my tests for the Liver where ABNORMAL and an ultrasound would be needed. No communication since.
At the appointment, I had specifically asked if the results would be uploaded to the Online TPP 'Results' page and was told they would be, once processed. Ten days later the test results are NOT on the Online TPP page, (even though I have access to my results).

I and my daughter had an appointment, but I registered late on the till because my daughter is not familiar with the registration process, so I took my daughter's slot instead. I just hope that the surgery will be kind enough to accommodate us both since we were already there.

E consult
I requested some medication via e-consult but you are not given a day or time window as to when the GP will call. Both times I was unable to answer my phone. I received a voicemail and a text message advising that the GP will phone again at a certain time but I was unable to reply to the message, nor did the GP leave a name so I was unable to advise that it was not convenient.
There was a follow up call e-consult which I was not aware was going to happen as it came out of the blue, no notification that it was going to happen and I was up a mountain at the time!!

Thank you for your comments, when you complete an eConsult, you will receive a text confirming receipt and advising a timescale via the admin team. In most cases you will then receive a response in the form of a text or email, but sometimes a phone call is required, that is why you are not given a day or time.
