Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you find our system 'a joke'. If you are in acute pain that would suggest you require an urgent appointment. Whilst we acknowledge our system is not perfect, we consider our acute support to be accessible. You do need to ring as close to 8am as possible, and you may have a small wait, or have to try a couple of times to access the queue - but at that point you will be care navigated or have a call-back from a clinician. They will then discuss your medical issue and agree the best way forward whether that is a face to face appointment, medication or analgesia, referral etc.

Head dressing and Flu like symptoms after covid

I have found GPS assessment via mobile phone good ... although a little concerned about persistent cough and nose blowing to date (some time after have covid).
The head dressing at Somerstown by the nursing staff is excellent...they are so helpful and jolly.

Very quiet in reception which was nice. I moved seats as a couple sat right next to me even though all other seats were available.
Blood pressure machine was not logged in but reception fixed this.
Running 15 mins late but this wasn't an issue.
Nurse Judith was lovely and put me at ease. She made me an appointment for blood pressure and also gave me vaccines that popped up as over due on my profile. She made not dread coming back!
