I was contacted with regards to my diabetic check up, l did not have to wait long all the routine tests were taken in a very pleasant manner and I left the surgery with a promise to let me know the results of my blood test when available.

Painless experience
Very well organised, professional and painless experience. Notification by text, booked online as should be in the 21st century.
Reception staff were very helpful and whilst waiting saw how patient tolerant and helpful they were. Great team for front of house.
Arrived, waited a relatively short time and was then seen, 5 minutes later I was on my way.

I visited Kingston Cresent Surgery, I was treated very well by the nurse practitioner and by the doctor. I was able to have a blood test and both consultations on the same day.

I found it very efficiently run. In fact, I was early but went straight in. Had no ill effects afterwards. I just wish that at 87 I didn’t have to go so far from Purbrook to get it. If I didn’t still drive I wouldn’t have been able to have it.

Booking in was easy (much easier than getting a GP appointment that's for sure).
The staff are friendly and helpful and carry a lot of knowledge. Today's injection was the quickest I've ever had. Literally in and out within around 3 mins, for me, this is amazing as I hate injections. The nurse or HCSW had it all ready and waiting. Great experience under the circumstances. Thank you guys, see you in 3 months.

Awful experience, one week of unnecessary stress
The patient's mental health was not taken into account during several contacts with the clinic. A follow up was requested by the service provider who failed to arrange the follow-up. All contact with the clinic failed over a period of a week to leave a vulnerable patient with cognitive impairment exposed. The system then compounded the issue by sending a letter directly to the capacitated patient which left them emotionally distressed for a further week compromising her emotional well being.

The answer of very poor was given because the so-called nurse who was supposed to remove all of my head stitches did not do so, there are still stitches remaining which will now have to be removed during my appointment on Friday 29th April. What a waste of my valuable time as well as members of Portsdown Practice. I recommend that the nurse who was supposed to remove my stitches is spoken to and further on job training given.
