Horrible surgery, can never get an appointment, only finally managed to get one after 4 months because I waited at the door in the morning for them to open, all in all, an absolute disgrace of a surgery!

I am sorry that you have found it difficult to gain an appointment, this is an issue across all of Primary Care doesn't have a quick fix due to the limited resources available. I would like to assure you that we constantly review and make changes where possible to improve.

Dr Gaught was incredibly helpful with my inquiry and referred me for blood tests which were carried out the next day, also referred for a chest X-ray the day after. Felt that she was genuinely concerned about my inquiry and wanted to help. Hopefully, now I will be referred to the Respiratory department at the hospital for investigations?

Easy appointment to book via the Care Navigator on the telephone. At appointment time I checked myself in and saw the nurse pretty quickly afterwards. The nurse was very friendly and caring.

I have only gone to Kingston Cresent Surgery twice for my COVID jabs, as my surgery is at Crookhorn. I have been trying to get an appointment to see a GP, at my own surgery, instead of having to go elsewhere, where there are a lot of doctors I haven't even heard of, let alone know about my health issues. Within 30 mins of going online to book an appointment, it says to try again tomorrow. You can’t even phone to get an appointment, which isn’t very good for my elderly parents they don’t use the online service, and my husband orders my mother’s prescriptions online for her when she’s low on medication. There is only a certain amount of blame you can use the COVID card for. Also, it would be good if we can use our own surgery instead of going to Cosham.
It was very interesting that a locum doctor who I had met on a home visit to a close friend of ours and who I saw recently at my husband's surgery, had said she prefers my husband's surgery instead of my surgery as you get more face to face appointments!

Thank you for your for feedback. The appointments on offer are relative to the size of the site and clinician rooms available. All clinicians can access your medical record so you are not restricted to who you can be seen by. It is however your choice if you would prefer to be seen at your preferred site, but this may lead to a longer wait time for an appointment.

Probably one of the best experiences I have ever had at the doctors. The nurse was amazing and very friendly. I have a needle phobia and she got it done very efficiently with no passing out. Thumbs up to her.

2 boosters for the 'price' of 1 visit

I brought my husband to this surgery for his new booster jab. It was all well organised and it went smoothly. Whilst there I was asked if I was due for mine. I had, literally, just received notification that I could book but hadn't yet done so. Thus, when asked if I would like mine then... great! Thank you. It did save another visit!
