Recent telephone appointment

Booked a telephone appointment for 9.45am to 10am. Only received a call at 12.10pm with a voicemail being left saying the doctor will try again later but did not. On the online portal it says the appointment went through with no issue and did not describe the above.

We are sorry that you were not contacted within the appointment window advised, usually we would try more than once to contact a patient, especially if we are running late but in this instance this did not happen. We will share this with the relevant clinician to enable them to improve on this Practice going forward.

I had a telephone consultation after a large number of trying to get through on the phone lines. The doctor booked me in for an appointment only on my arrival to find no appointment was made I was also booked for a hot appointment due to fever even though I had confirmed I wasn't covid positive. To then be asked to wait out in cold for over 30 minutes I live in Southsea was made to travel to Cosham where was I supposed to go for 30 minutes I was not happy especially as I was feeling really unwell I believe as we have so many doctor practices we should be able to get appointment near our homes.

Thank you for your feedback. We follow strict guidelines for patients that need to be assessed in our "Hot Room" this is to protect both patients and staff. We will offer the earliest appointment at our available site, however you can decline should you prefer to wait to gain an appointment at your chosen location.

For once I experienced excellent service. I went into kc surgery at 8.10am and requested to speak to a doctor about a medical issue. The receptionist (new one) was very helpful and by the time I got indoors the doctor called me at approx 8.40. She prescribed medication which I was able to pick up almost immediately and start the treatment needed. Thank you/

I gave a 1 because you can never get through to anyone and can never see a doctor so have to ring 111. I have never seen the same doctor or even been to my own surgery so I have to travel. I never had this problem when I was at Hanaway surgery.
