The nurse practitioner listened carefully to all my symptoms, didn't question or act as if I didn't know what I was talking about, she took all symptoms I told her seriously and has helped me feel a lot better, very grateful.

Receptionists think they are doctors and waited over 10 days for my sick note to be reviewed. Phoned 5 times asking for a doctor to reply to my e- consult and when I went into Kingston crescent surgery reception said if I don't like it I can find another surgery to go to! I have never needed to use my doctor's up till now due to me being diagnosed with PTSD and I can't wait to never have to use them again. They just put you on medication and leave you with no help or support, I've had to seek help myself with talking change.

Thank you for your feedback. Our reception and call centre staff follow the guidance of our Partners, when asking questions and signposting patients appropriately. We are sorry that your sick note took 10 days to be processed, however this is an acceptable time frame. We support our patients to the best of our ability with both social prescribing and clinical input.

Gained really useful information

I attended the travel nurse clinic for jabs and gained really useful information. During the visit the nurse also noticed I had an inflamed toe which she was able to get antibiotics from the doctor straight away avoiding a lot more pain and worry.

Doctor was very polite but insisted on an appointment at Crookhorn Surgery when I had made it very clear that I would not be able to get there. I am 84 and housebound and my relatives are all working.

The medical service was fine. Clean and cordial. I had to disclose a piece of medical history that was rather traumatic and was met with almost complete silence. I felt rather uncomfortable telling the strangers in the room. One said nothing, and one did not even talk to me. I would have expected a little more sensitivity to the subject and a little more understanding, and to maybe be signposted to somewhere else that could help me. I felt rather raw and traumatised. Other medical professionals in other fields have left me feeling quite supported but this was emotionally distressing.

Called for 3rd blood test because not enough was taken at 2nd one apparently and still have no idea which result(s) were borderline on 1st test. Haven't heard anything since so guessing ok but some feedback would be reassuring or indicate any areas I should watch. Home for 40 mins again waiting to make an appointment so I called into surgery and was offered cancellation later that day. Felt safe in surgery.
