Lovely lady dr I saw, very understanding and very helpful. Had to speak to the reception and the lady could see I was in a bit of a flap and not only helped me but didnt rush me. I find all staff at Kingston crescent surgery very helpful.

Made me feel at ease
This was my first time in coming to this surgery, I found that the signs for seeing the nurse for a dressing change weren't in sight as you come through the main door. I followed the sign for Portsdown group practice on the left as you walk in the main door only to be told the whole place was Portsdown surgery and I was directed to were the nurse would see me. The nurse was polite, friendly and made me feel at ease.

Appointment system
The times of day to make appointment are difficult for people who work early and cannot use a telephone at place of work. If you don't get through to surgery directly at 8am or 10am all appointments are gone for that day. Difficulty in making a routine appointment on a different day to the phone call made on the day.

Text received 9/11/21 stating someone will be in contact within 5-10 working days.
14 working days later! Finally had a call from a nurse, not a GP a nurse or a practitioner!
Have been in quite a lot of pain/discomfort but patiently waited. After 5 working days, at my cost, I treated myself with test kits and treatment!
