I attended the surgery for my Flu vaccination. The check-in screen was not working. All equipment sometimes breaks down, but the issue was that no signage was put on the screen to say that it was broken and nobody came out to explain what the issue was and so a large queue formed which spread out into the car park. Everybody was queuing to register at the reception desk. When I started queuing there were two receptionists behind the desk, then one left and the other was left to manage on her own whilst also answering general enquiries, with the queue getting longer. Once I was able to register at the desk I was seen promptly by the nurse with no further issues.

Flu Jab
I was in and out in 5 mins and the nurse was reassuring and cheerful. I didn't feel rushed at all. One small point having had my flu jab on Friday 2 days later I received a text saying my covid booster was due. Wouldn't it have been more time effective to do both at the same time? And it would have freed up more slots for others. Please make your terms and conditions concise. I've taken the time to give feedback. I don't expect to have to spend 10 mins reading T's and C's before I can submit it.

Flu vaccination
The wait to be seen was short and the nurse giving the injection was friendly and efficient. As I have a problem getting through to the surgery for any other reason I used the opportunity to make an appointment for a diabetes review which is due. Now I know I have a face to face appointment I shall be able to ask diabetes related questions that I have been unable to ask for some time.

Dr Safgar was excellent, reassuring, professional and answered all questions well. I felt very confident in her ability to find out what to do and to explain any outcomes at the appointment. She was very clear about the examination and asked permission for more invasive examination. She also told me what to do in case of needing more treatment, and to make sure I get the best advice/other.

Double jab-for flu and Covid booster
As mentioned previously visited surgery for my annual flu jab, plus the covid booster jab, the practice is very efficient and friendly, and waiting time was kept to a minimum, l appreciate the work the medical and receptionist staff do, during these testing times, and can't thank all those concerned enough.

I was given a 1 minute slot. Arriving several minutes earlier. Met by quite a miserable older receptionist quite abrupt and off putting. Almost 1 hr later I was called up, surprisingly to be seen by a doctor, ( surprised as it seemed a little over kill to have a doctor giving me simple injections) just wondering why?

Thank you for your feedback. We use a mix of clinicians during our immunisation clinics and this will generally include at least one GP, as some clinicians cannot give an immunisation without a GP being presence for compliance.
