The doctor considered the problem - a very painful "lump" on my back- an unusual case and arranged a further appointment with Adam Taylor, this resulted in an appointment at St Mary's for further investigations on 19 October.

A O.K experience
I had an emergency appointment regarding my lower bowel disorder. The nurse checked the area of concern then went and spoke to the duty doctor who suggested antibiotics were needed.
They were ready at the pharmacy next door in fifteen minutes.

Having to go to North End for a jab is somewhat odd when it would be far more convenient for me to go to the Wofferton Road surgery in Paulsgrove or even the Cosham surgery. More thought for the patient rather than the practice should be adopted.

Most of the patients waiting for the covid booster and flu jabs were elderly, and the 40 minute queue outside in a cold wind was obviously too much for some of them.

The appointment went fine. The biggest problem is getting an appointment, I have literally spent hours on the phone not always getting through and even getting cut off when you get to the front of the Queue.
