Booking service was fine, only criticism is that you are not told what type of blood test, ie fasting or non-fasting. Nurse practitioner that carried out the extraction was excellent in all aspects of the task.

Doctor consultation

When I need to see a doctor I have to explain my situation to a receptionist in order for them to make the decision to whether I need a call back from the doctor I feel that this system is wrong as the receptionist is not a doctor and its personal and should be between doctor and patient.

On Friday I found my prescription had been stopped when I went to pick it up at the chemist but I went to the surgery late on, on a Friday and the receptionist was excellent and managed to sort it out for me and couldn't have been more helpful so I'd just like to mention this and say a big thank you to the lady and the GP who sorted it out. So again thank you!

Very good experience with Covid jabs, kind staff.
Still impossible to get an appointment to see a Doctor. Hours on the phone in huge queue and if you go into the surgery the reception staff won't give you an appointment. They just send you away saying you have to phone. This is not always convenient as I work during the relevant hours.

Was called in as soon as I got there. Checked in on the screen instead of waiting in the queue to do it with the receptionist, definitely saved me from standing around wasting the drs/nurses time by waiting for me. The lady i saw was great, very friendly and polite, very informative, helped massively. Solved the issue.

Arrived on time, called in promptly, explained what procedure was and was I happy to go ahead. Excellent explanation and effects of injection observer also present, both were very professional polite and friendly happy throughout and advice given at the end.

It would be nice if I can see the doctor face to face. I have a few illness problems and since 2019 I have not seen doctor and it's very difficult to get a call appointment. I feel my health is getting worse and nobody is paying me any attention.

I had a blood test and partial health check but do not know the results at this moment in time. I have answered question 4 in the negative because I did not have treatment. I just had a blood test and BP measurements etc.
