Dr Kyd is a brilliant doctor that I would like to say a big thank you to. She was totally on the ball around Christmas with a medical complaint I had and fast tracked it through the system....and even one of Q&E team remarked how impressed they were with my Doctor!!

I have not been able to see a dr for love nor money.
I have had a very painful leg and foot
I cannot move my foot at all , I keep falling and I’ve only seen a nurse, physios who told me to go to out of hours smh they didn’t help and said I should see my GP I then got a GP on the phone who said come in, when I got there it was a nurse again but at least I had blood test done. From there I had several visits to physio in smh , no improvement! I was told to go to
A & E , they said see your GP !!!!! But gave in and gave me crutches. They said because it was 10 weeks I must be able to cope with it ! It’s 10 weeks because I’ve been shoved from pillar to post
Physio again , this time referred me for mri scan which I have to wait 4 weeks
If I’d seen a dr at the beginning I would of had a scan by now instead of being left with this extremely painful foot numb leg and falling all the time

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever. It is often that you need to be referred to physio first, prior to being referred to the hospital, therefore there is no guarantee that had you seen a GP first that you would have been referred any quicker.

Appoints sent always available to people who work & can't ring in early enough to catch appointments I was at Hanway but now at Kingston not through choice. Cannot comment on questions 2 3 4 none of this has been applicable to me of yet.so have a low score

I had an ECG, bloods taken and an ear swab. (Which I did, and would advise that as best practice, as the nurse wouldn't have got anything, for fear of causing pain or perforation, which is understandable).
All was GREAT apart from:- there was ZERO ventilation in the little room.
The nurse didn't seem at all bothered.

The Staff for the most part were polite, but to be honest it's sad seeing the bored annoyed stressed faces of the reception staff treating the elderly with little regard, and the way the electronic check in slowed down the process of admittance than actually speeding it up, was farcical. It's a great practedious or annoying.

They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse.
