I visited the surgery in October 20 for a shoulder assessment, I was told I would get a cortizone injection within a few days as I was on a list, after two months no calls I called and was told there are no appointments, four months later still no appointments and the surgery which takes over an hour on a call centre to answer told me they would have to put me on a list that I was already on, I was then asked to self refer to a physio that I had already done, I was then told I was going round in circles and to go private, I was told to ring a private doctor and pay 40 pounds for an assessment, I have self assessed and visited the Cosham practice to get my log in to receive my blood results which of no surprise does not work, so I am left again phoning a service which does not work.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologise that there has been confusion around steroid injections. We do hold a waiting list of patients, but this service has been postponed due to COVID. We are waiting to be told when we can resume as it is out of our control. In the meantime, self referral to physio would be something we would recommend and you can, of course, go privately if that is possible and something you wish to pursue.
Please can you contact the Operations Team with regard to waiting for over an hour on the phone. Our longest waiting times are nowhere near 60 minutes during peak periods and so, if you can provide us with time and date information (as well as the number you called from) then we can ask our supplier to track the call and see if there was an issue that we can resolve.

So impressed
I phoned the surgery because I have had a cough for some time. My usual surgery is Crookhorn but my app was Kingston Crescent. Have only ever been there for jabs. The Doctor was tied up so I saw a nurse called Joanne. She went through so much with me as I had a couple of other things needing sorted. I have now had Covid test which proved negative, booked for blood test and am booking QA for chest X-ray. I was so impressed at the service I was given.

It was an "on the day" appointment following a telephone discussion with a G.P.
Kingston Crescent is not my usual surgery and so I was unfamiliar with it. The "Screen Log In" was not working and so I was still waiting for the receptionist to log me in, beyond my appointment time.
