I felt that the doctor or nurse practitioner wanted me out as soon as possible, also I did not know what he was nurse or doctor.

I personally never had any troubles with KCS, the staff have always been respectful and polite. Except one or two that sounds mad always when talking to them on the phone but overall the staff are good. The doctors themselves are also respectful and always listens to your problems. Overall I'm happy with KCS.

No service!

2 out of 5 stars

Very poor service. Response to eConsults from GP (if you are lucky) and it is clear that they have not read your notes before hand. Letters from consultants delivered by hand that go missing leading to delay in starting medication and waste of NHS administration time.

Thank you for your feedback. We have had a high demand in eConsults which has meant that some have not been responded to within the usual 48 hours, however we ensure that we do make contact to advise receipt and re-contact within the advised period. All eConsults should be read prior to contacting the patient, we apologise if this has not been the case. Any paperwork handed in would be directed to the relevant department, this is then scanned to the record and referred for appropriate action, it is regrettable, due to volume this can take a few days dependent on the action and clinical prioritisation. We will share your comments with our team.

The paramedic Alan Davies was very kind and thorough, he even took my ECG and blood test so as I didn’t have to come back, and also gave me new treatment for my rash, which is working really well.
Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

They coped well with the amount of people waiting and were knowledgeable and reassuring about a preexisting illness I have. The staff in the carpark were a little over zealous.

An extremely well organised clinic where patients were in and out of the surgery very efficiently but without feeling like a conveyor belt. The personal touch was still evident. Thank you.

I spoke about my headaches whether migraine or cluster and was told, this is one appointment we can only talk about one thing. Both things are headache I would say I experienced one symptom on one occasion and then dr would summarise and suggest I said every time I was having a symptom, didn't seem to be listening, the specifics were quite important to me as it is indicative of my migraines changing from occasionally to every day for (then) 2 weeks, now 3, with a change in symptom. I stated I previously had a medication as a preventative, Dr said 'is that what you're trying to get'. Actually what I was trying to get was some advice regarding daily migraines which are affecting my day to day work, ability to drive and my sleep. I got six sumatriptan to take at onset of symptoms. Daily migraines, six tablets. Not helpful, I didn't feel listened to and the medication lasted all of 3 days.Keen to change GP

Slick & Quick

My husband and I had received a telephone call the previous evening asking if we could attend the surgery the next morning for a Covid vaccination. We said yes and turned up the next morning and joined a lengthy queue. But this queue was moving fast and within just a couple of minutes we had both been signed in and vaccinated. After a 15 minutes wait to check for any reactions we were on our way back home. This was the NHS system working flawlessly.
