Kingston Crescent Surgery
I felt everything at the surgery went very smoothly. Something really has to be done about the phone lines trying to get through to make an appointment. When mum was at Hanway group practice it was a much more personal experience and a lot easier.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

It was a long wait to be seen but I went in for a flu jab via the walk in service (which was handy) so difficult to judge a day to day service.

From the time that a prescription was requested from the heart failure team it took 10 days for me to receive notification from the pharmacy that it was ready for collection. Considering that I have a serious heart condition I feel that this time period to be excessive.

Thank you for your feedback. Due to the high demand on GP services, it is regrettable, but necessary, for patients' to take ownership for ensuring timely requests for the medication they require. We would suggest your sign up for on-line prescription requests to avoid any delays.

She's arranged a visit to Dermatologist at St Mary's Hospital.

First impressions.....
Having just decided to ask about my flu jab whilst shopping at Aldi, I was impressed by the gentle but persuasive way we were directed to disinfect and queue before being allowed into the building.
Not only did we get a date for the jab - considering that it was almost (surgery) closing time, but we also were given appointments for blood tests, too. ( found out that I’m now borderline diabetic!). I wouldn’t have known that, otherwise!
Good choice of “partnering” it seems. Keep up the good work.

I found the receptionist very rude to me. I have a mental illness and I need to be able to understand the situation and I didn't hear my phone going off nor did my mum and the lady was arguing with me so I put the phone down, thats
my problem.
