Poor review
Awful service , dr phoned said he’d like to see me, only got to see a nurse who gave me sickness tablets! And offered physio for painful neck and severe headaches!
Prescription never went through to chemist even though I waited 1hr 50 min I gave up and went home without it.
I’ve now had to pay out for chiropractor.
Receptionist should be fired !! Refused to open door when chemist asked me to go back re: prescription , I couldn’t hear what she was saying through speaker as drilling was going on outside by Aldi. All in all a very unhelpful stressful time with no outcome and I’m still in unbearable pain from neck and headache

Thank you for your feedback, we are currently working hard to reduce our 'Do Not Attends,' in October at Kingston Crescent 135 appointments were not attended, this is a total of lost clinician time of 55.3 hours or 2.3 weeks, an average cost of £1,729. If these had been cancelled more appointments would have been available to others.

No communication between departments
I feel that there is no communication between departments, the right hand does not seem to know what the left is doing. Pharmacy don't appear to receive prescriptions even when I was sitting with the doctor when he wired the script over, pharmacy said they had no script and this was 3 days later. Doctor does not seem to know how pharmacy works.
I have not had any meds reviews for more than 5/6 years but have now had 2 July and October, the pharmacist, I presume that's who he was, very pleasant fellow, did not know what I was taking meds for and asked ME? why I was taking them?
Had letter through asking me to go see nurse for fasting blood tests and blood pressure test, again she was lovely but failed, until I reminded her, to take blood pressure.
I just find that nothing ever runs smoothly at your surgery and had not done so for quite a few years, so cannot be put down to the COVID crisis.
As said before your employees are lovely and mostly very helpful, but things just don't seem to run very smoothly, as mentioned before, the right hand does not seem to know what the left is doing.

I went for a blood test and found that I felt safe and looked after. My temperature was tested on arrival and the seating in the waiting room was socially distanced. The young lady that took my blood was pleasant and efficient.

A result for my treatment
Having had a redness and soreness around my ear and face since March time 2020, I visited the practice first time and was given a treatment for Rosacea. I used the treatment given, but alas it continued. Next time I saw a different person and checking me over, she wondered if the face masks that I was wearing was the culprit. I used the mild steroid cream given and changed my masks to a thin cotton one, and low and behold that was what was making my face red and sore.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Submitted an econsult. Was contacted and arranged a face to face appointment. Checked what was wrong and given prescription. Service from start to finish was good. Particular mention to reception staff who were very smiley and helpful.

Asked the doctor about the injections in my knees in the first week of July he said I would have them by the end of July, went back in the first week in August yes 2 weeks they said it's now the 19/10 and still nothing. My doctor told me they were not doing injections at the minute then last week I've got some dr receptionist telling me it's because there not releasing the stuff that they inject into you.
