Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

I haven't had an experience. It's impossible to get a Dr even 7 months after coming out of hospital. The wrong people want to know too much as well even without covid 19 that surgery as been a bad 2 years ( all of the Doctors and nurses have been good once I've seen them though.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

Kingston Crescent Surgery is excellent. Easy to access by car and then a very short walk, which is important, but also, friendly, professional welcome from every member of staff, from reception, to nurses to doctors. We always choose this surgery if at all possible.

Vaccination
On visiting the surgery my intentions were to book a appointment for my flu jab, the receptionist said if I took a seat I could have it shortly, at the same time I was given a booster tetanus and also a MMR booster jab. I was in and out in 10 minutes.

After seeing the nurse and she sent a message for me to see the Doctor, I had to wait nearly one hour which I thought was a long time. Also the two receptionist sent a message to the doctor so they done as much as they could for me.

Flu jab
I attended the surgery for my annual flu jab last week, I had made an appointment but was surprised that other people just walked in. I originally received a text to say to book an appointment on line which I was unable to do so I emailed and they made an appointment for me. At no time was I informed that I could just turn up without an appointment as has happened other years this would have been more convenient for me as I could have decided when I wanted to go and not be tied to an appointment,

Doctor appointment with a female Training to be a doctor
I had a good appointment with a young female who is in training and checked everything with another doctor on Monday morning. She did appropriate tests and listened well to all my concerns and I felt she cared a lot about the worries I have at this time. She has organized me to have a scan and really made me feel like she was a qualified doctor already as she knew what to do and the questions she asked. She is going to be a great doctor when she is fully qualified.

Making a flu appointment. Very impressed.
It’s the first time l have been to the surgery since the Covid outbreak. l entered the surgery to make a flu jab appointment, everyone who entered had their temperature taken and had to use hand sanitiser If staying. I was able to have my flu jab done more or less straight away. In the waiting area the chairs were cordoned off with tape so you were certainly 2 metres apart. Very impressed.
