Recent vaccinations

I was very impressed that I was called in by text to have top up vaccinations without an appointment. I only had to wait for about 10 minutes. The Doctor was very kind and allowed me to ask a question about something else I was worried about as he prepared the vaccinations thereby setting my mind at rest. I was grateful for the advice received.

First visit to see a doctor

I came in to get the pneumonia vaccination and the doctor was very informative about the practice and what is available. He also looked up my history and suggested I should have the tetanus vaccination too.

Had a phone call appointment from Dr Kipgen, he listened to my issues and got me into surgery and an answer to my issue all within 3 days! And a prescription sent to the pharmacy ready for collection. Fantastic service, thank you.

They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse. Short and sweet

In two week I dealt with three surgeries. The most difficult thing was getting an appointment in the first place. I wouldn't call it an emergency and its was not routine, I was confused. Luckily for me I am not a regular user of your services. For being such you also said I could have a tetanus and MMR at the same time.
Once I was guided through the appointment system the treatment I recieved between the three surgeries was brilliant. I could not fault it at all. Staff were helpful, understanding and professional. I have been telling everyone I know what wonderful service I received. Thank you.

Appointments

Was very happy with my drs appointment was a little late but nothing major. I'm sorry to say that making an appointment is very hard and quite stressful I don't know how older patients cope. Phone service is awful never any appointments and your left on the phone queue for ages I understand that certain times of the day are busier but perhaps you could organise your staffing levels to accomadate the heavy call times. More staff more doctors.

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.
