Booked online via the surgery website and was contacted a few days later with the availability of dates and times for the Kingston Surgery (ours is Crookhorn but part to the group). Nurse was very informative and told us what we would be getting. Overall a good service and please we are now ready for our trip in the summer.

Emergency appointment
Very quick response for an emergency appointment. I phoned at 8, had to hold to speak to an operator but then got a call back from a doctor almost immediately and an appointment with the nurse 45 minutes later.

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

Health Check
Had a health check and was just wondering if I was overweight. Had my height and weight measured compared to my age and it was confirmed that I was overweight. The health checker suggested that I need to lose 1.5 stone in about 5 years but she said that I don't have to rush the weight lose but please try to do it. So I said to her that I will try to lose the weight. Compared to my height and age and weight I should weigh 11 stone but I do weigh 12.5 stone.

Nice surgery
Nice spacious surgery so you don’t feel like your sitting on top of each other. Reception were great too as I basically passed out in the chemist after my visit while waiting for my meds, they gave me a cup of water to help the problem.

Stitches & vaccination.
I had booked an appointment with the nurse to have 9 stitches removed after having a BCC removed from my face. I always attend appointments early, just in case any other patients have not turned up, or are late! After booking myself in, I asked the lady on reception if I could have a shingles vaccination. A GP previously phoned me with some results and after asking about the shingles vaccination, she said I was entitled and to pop in any time. Reception said if I sat on the seat through the double doors a doctor would call me in. About ten minutes later the doctor called me in and gave me the vaccination, all quite painless. [I have had the misfortune to have shingles on more than one occasion, not so much a massive rash, but very deep pains]. I no sooner left his room than the nurse was calling me in. After painless removal of stitches I was on my way back home.
