I was thankful for the prompt service

I called last week with an ear and sinus problem, l had a call back from the Dr very soon after and was asked to go in that day. I had to call back a few days later as the medicine wasn't helping, and again had a call back. My meds were changed and am hopeful thinks are getting better. I was thankful for the prompt service.

They do, however, work in what can, at times, be a stressful environment and have to endure unacceptable levels of abuse. Great to be seen by the doctors

Shame I got a £40 parking fine as I was waiting a long time for the nurse and then at the chemist.
The nurse practitioner listened to my needs asked for the doctor to come see and together they worked out a plain of action to help me get better, as always can’t fault Portsdown group practice

Appointment are never available I think this needs sorting out I rang two day in A row and no appointment for my mum so a telephone consultation a week later it’s a disgrace

Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do constantly monitor the situation and, if indicated, make further investment in our communications infrastructure.

Last weeks visit

The whole experience in the surgery was brilliant but it left me feel ill for a week. I've been prescribed a medication that wasnt meant to be mixed with ones I was already on. No one asked me if I'm taking any other medication nor was that checked. I found it out the hard way when I became really ill the next day and researched online myself. Its been a week and I only just starting to feel ok.
